CAC calculator
Pick a list source and channel, adjust the numbers, and watch CAC update as you go. Everything runs in your browser.
Your inputs
CRM, past customers, existing leads. Stage percentages are seeded from 1st party / warm defaults — every stage below runs its own channel, cost, and conversion rate, and all of it stays editable. Benchmarks are directional; swap in what you're seeing in your own campaigns.
Progression funnel — channel by stage
Start with your total target accounts, then set the channel, cost, and % progressing for each stage. Every channel and cost is seeded with a benchmark and fully editable.

Biggest leak: Initial engagement at 22% conversion.
Media spend only — deliberately not fully-loaded CAC. It leaves out SDR hours, content production, and tooling. Nothing leaves this page.
Methodology
How the numbers are calculated
The formula behind the tool, and why it splits cost by funnel stage instead of reporting a single average.
Customer acquisition cost is the total amount you spend to acquire customers in a period, divided by the number of new customers you acquired in that same period. Spend $50,000 in a quarter and close 25 new customers, and your CAC is $2,000. A fully-loaded version of that number includes salaries, tooling, agency fees, and content production; this calculator deliberately uses media spend only, so it answers a narrower question — whether a given list and channel are worth buying against.
The limitation of blended CAC is that it is an average of averages. It tells you what a customer cost, but not where the cost came from. Two channels with identical $2,000 CAC can behave completely differently: one may reach cheaply and convert poorly, the other may reach expensively and convert well. Only the second is worth scaling, and the blended number cannot tell them apart.
Funnel-stage CAC solves that by carrying spend through every step. Reach is derived from spend and cost per click, then each conversion rate you set produces the next stage's count, and the same spend is divided by each count to give cost per engaged contact, per qualified lead, per meeting, and per closed customer. Cost concentrates wherever a stage drops hardest, which is why the tool flags the weakest rate as the biggest leak. That stage — not the final average — is where a change to spend, targeting, or messaging actually moves CAC.
